Goodbye Universal?

David's final show at Universal was yesterday. Drive-in and Dance is no more along with Gabby's Playhouse. Which means, he's no longer scheduled at Universal and his time as an employee may be coming to an end.

He started there in 2012 as a Halloween Horror Nights scare actor. Funny enough, we both started at Universal around the same time for the same thing. He wanted to get into dancing there but at the time they didn't have any openings. So he picked up the seasonal work at Universal while continuing to work at Disney working long LONG shifts.

At some point in 2013 (unfortunately I could not pinpoint exactly when) he started his official dancing journey at Universal in the Superstar Parade. He did the Superstar Parade for a good while before moving over to Dreamworks. Last year Dreamworks closed down and he was kind of a floater dancer for a bit and then landed his new home at Drive-in and Dance and then alternating shifts with Gabby. Yesterday Drive-In and Dance did their final performance.

There was an audition for the new Dreamworks show, but unfortunately they haven't called him yet and it appears they have their casting. There's another audition for Epic... but that'll be some time. He has 30 days starting today I believe before he's officially no longer employed.

I'm optimistic he'll get something. He's an amazing dancer and wonderful person. Who wouldn't want him? It's just the waiting game now.
